A Katharine Watson-designed hand block printed throw quilt, individually hand stitched and dyed with natural indigo dye.

Each quilt is hand printed with a resist-block printing method and dyed with natural dye by a multi-generation family of block printers in Kutch, India.

Each quilt is approximately 88" x 78" with hemmed edges on all sides, and is the perfect size for a cozy throw, nap quilt, or even picnic blanket.

The quilts are thick, high quality 100% cotton with a breathable, lightweight feel.

The quilt is reversible: display the printed side for a bold look, or the plain quilted back for a neutral look.

We recommend hand-washing the quilts, or machine washing separately on cold. Hang dry.

Because each quilt is handmade, no two are exactly alike, and small inconsistencies are a normal part of the process.

Beautiful fabric and very comfortable

Pro: The print is beautiful and it's a very comfortable for sitting in the living room or outside. Nice stitching and definitely high quality.
Con: It's lighter than I expected, which is not necessarily a con, but thinner than I intended to use as a comforter. The dye does rub off a little bit with constant use, so I would be cautious to use it on white sheets or upholstery.

Fabulous Quilt!

I love everything about this quilt - the indigo color, the hand-stitching, the block print, the softness. Already out on my couch for snuggling under. I bought it when I attended one of Katharine’s workshops. A gift to myself 💙

Pretty hand printed quilt

Now that the weather has cooled down, I started using this quilt for an extra layer of warmth on our queen size bed and it looks great! I love that it is hand stitched and printed with natural indigo dye too.
